L’Ambassade de la République Démocratique du Congo au Japon est heureuse d’annoncer la nomination de Son Excellence Monsieur LUKUMWENA NSENDA, qui a récemment pris ses fonctions en tant qu’Ambassadeur extraordinaire et plénipotentiaire de la République Démocratique du Congo au Japon.
Son Excellence Monsieur LUKUMWENA NSENDA apporte avec lui une riche expérience, connaissance du Japon et un engagement indéfectible envers les intérêts de la RDC, ainsi que la promotion des relations bilatérales entre notre nation et le Japon.
En tant qu’Ambassadeur de la RDC au Japon, Son Excellence Monsieur LUKUMWENA NSENDA jouera un rôle clé dans le renforcement des liens diplomatiques, économiques et culturels entre la République démocratique du Congo et le Japon. Il sera chargé de représenter la RDC dans un large éventail de questions internationales, de faciliter la coopération entre nos deux pays et de promouvoir les intérêts de la RDC auprès du Gouvernement Japonais.
Ainsi, l’Ambassade lui souhaite un fructueux mandat inscrit dans la dynamique d’approfondissement de l’Amitié entre la RDC et le Japon.

Primary duties include: scheduling, prioritizing and managing the agenda of the Ambassador, liaising with diplomats, officers and staff members, composing and editing Japanese, English correspondence to relevant authorities, managing all incoming and outgoing calls to/from the Ambassador, managing various aspects of diplomacy and social events, arranging official meetings and appointments for the Ambassador, diplomats and official delegations from DRC.
The job will be carried out by locally engaged staff in the Embassy of DRC in Tokyo with a working time of 35 hours / week. The initial contract will be limited for one year subject to renewal for an indefinite period upon mutual agreement. New employees shall serve a probation period of three months immediately after the date of initial employment.
Qualifications
- A post-secondary degree or diploma
- Minimum 3 years experience working as an administrative assistant for a senior executive
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to plan, develop and coordinate multiple
tasks/activities, and work additional hours as and when required
- Fluent in Japanese, Excellent written/ verbal communication skills in English or French
- Ability to effectively work within a team of people from diverse backgrounds and
communicate with people at all levels
- Proven ability to treat confidential information with discretion
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Flexibility and ability to adapt
- Medically fit to perform the required duties.
